Technology Transfer

Using 20 years of our contracting knowledge in various climates, we can provide on site support for our full range of chemicals and additives to ensure that our clients can deliver quality ‘end products’ and services to their clients.

Complete technology packages from emulsion manufacture through to ‘on site training’ for all processes (from micro asphalt to in-situ recycling) ensures a smooth transition from beginner to experienced suppliers or contractors who can be confident in the quality of their products.

Demands for  ‘end performances’ of products and processes in the highways sector along with increased traffic loads have resulted in the need to constantly develop durable but versatile materials.
 
As contractors in the bitumen and road emulsions industry for more than 20 years, we have first hand experience of the problems that a contractor can be faced with so we decided to develop our own chemicals and modifications to manufacture products that can meet these demands.

Raw materials analysis

The availability of raw materials, especially aggregates, can prove to be a major obstacle for geographical or logistical reasons.

Send us your proposed bitumen or aggregates and using our in-house laboratory and lab mill, we can adapt our chemicals to optimise the relationship between the binder and the stone which, in turn, improves the performance of the end products and processes.

Footpath slurry seal

Each year millions of square metres of conventional slurry seal are applied to footways in the UK.

Medium setting ’hand applied slurry’ to pre -regulate the surface at 5-10Kg m2

Final surface with a brush texture can be opened to the public after only 20 mins curing time.
