Macismo has been actively involved in contracting for the specialist highways surfacing industry in the UK for over 20years and have been active internationally since 1994.
We have been commissioned for the transfer and training of technology for the asphalt & emulsion industry and have successfully implemented:
- Bitumen emulsion production plant
- Cold asphalt and emulsion chemicals
- Asphalt plants – static and mobile
- Implementing processes:
- Surface dressing
- Micro Surfacing
- Recycling

We have taken our contracting experience and applied it to the development and improvement of asphalts and emulsions used in theses processes. This has resulted in the unique ability to design a product using our chemical manufacturing facility to adapt emulsifiers and modifiers to suit the raw materials available. We can evaluate samples of the end users intended raw materials and using our in-house laboratory facilities we can make any necessary adjustments to the formulations to suit the characteristics of those raw materials. |
